Sonifying the human’s aspiration to enlightenment, this work is a spatial installation of 5/7 singing bowl modules self-performing the Shepard-Risset-Glissando.
The multi-tone illusion traps the listener in a continuous rise towards a higher, yet unreachable destination all the while embodying the seemingly ungraspable higher state of mind. Running infinitely but never encountering divinity.
